I began using the Jewel pads at a time where my cycle wasn’t coming in a timely manner like it should. I expressed my concern to a friend who then referred me to this product. Mainly because I had told her about my battles with having Endometriosis and Fibroids. I battled for years with very painful and excruciating menstrual cycles. 

I was about 40 days late on my cycle when I picked up the Jewel product from my friend on day 41. I just wore the pantyliners everyday as advised. By day 47 my cycle finally came. 

The first cycle I experienced pain only on day 1. The remaining days weren’t painful at all this wasn’t normal for me.  I also didn’t experience the night sweats that I was use to having although I had a little fatigue. The second cycle using Jewel has been the absolute best thus far! I didn’t have much pain neither of the days, no night sweats, and no fatigue. I can say that this was probably the first cycle I experienced without being grouchy. Can you imagine? That was such a relief for me.

What I love most about Jewel are the relief from the symptoms that I would typically experience. I also like that they they’re durable and comfortable to wear when I go to sleep at night.

Jewel Premium Sanitary Napkins are really a jewel! I loved the packaging and design! I have used them every day and night and have not had any leakage issues. Jewel is an amazing brand. I have very heavy flow and, despite the pads looking thin, I wore one through the night and it was the first time I didn't get up in a pool of blood in the morning. I have an extremely heavy flow, especially at night. I typically wear tampons only as I could never find pads strong enough to hold my heavy flow. I heard about Jewel through my Aunt. She recommended for me to try the Super Heavy Overnight pads and wear those throughout the day to help with my heavy flow.  I had my reservations of trying the product due to past experience with leaking. But WOW, All parts of my panties feel covered, it is very absorbent, and I don't have to worry about leaks. They use the best material that keeps you dry for a very long time and is also very breathable as well.  With this, you would think the pads are super thick and bulky, but they are not. In fact, you can barely feel them. They are super thin and soft, which makes this pad very comfortable to wear.

In addition, I have had a history extremely painful cramp since I was in my teens. I am now in my 30’s and still suffer from this. Since I converted from tampons to the Jewel Napkin, I have finally had significant relief in my cramps. Over the summer I periodically wore a Tampon at the pool for discreteness.  The moment that I placed the tampon in, I immediately started to feel the pain in my stomach again. Each time, I could  not wait to get it out of me and replace it with my Jewel Napkin. I cannot not believe how much pain tampons caused me over the years due to all the toxins that were entered in my body.

Anyone who knows me knows that I love any and everything natural. Another fun fact about myself is that I am not easily swayed; However, when I learned of Jewel Premium Sanitary Napkins I was instantly captivated and quite frankly mind blown by the product. At the time I was only able to purchase the liners because my period decided to take a two and a half year sabbatical unbeknownst to me. Honestly I didn’t go in having any expectations because I was merely using a panty liner. To my surprise a month or so later my period miraculously returned! In my opinion Jewel played a pivotal role in the return of my menstrual cycle and I would give a small credit to juicing as well. Needless to say I’ve been using the liners and pads ever since. I would encourage others to give it a try and see what positive effects will come after using the products.

In 2004 I was diagnosed with fibroids during a routine pelvic exam. I didn’t have any problems with them until late 2007 when I started experiencing heavy bleeding. In 2008 I had a Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE) procedure done. Fast forward to 2015, I started experiencing heavy bleeding again so I had the UFE procedure done a second time. During the MRI my technician told me that I had numerous fibroids in my uterus. To be totally symptom free my options were to either have a myomectomy or a hysterectomy, but I did not want to undergo major surgery unless it became medically necessary.

When I used overnight pads I would go through 2-3 of them, which were completely soaked and an indication of how bad those episodes were. I began using Depends underwear because they were the only thing that helped me during my cycle. I would experience gushing and in September 2019 I went to the ER after I started feeling lightheaded and extremely tired.  I underwent a blood transfusion and was prescribed iron pills for the anemia caused by the excessive blood loss. 

During this time I switched to the Jewel pads.  I found out about them through my sister, Cassandra Davis, a distributor for Jewel. I saw the demonstration of how their absorbency rate was greater than other feminine products and learned that regular feminine products contained chemicals that were harmful to a female’s reproductive system.  But it wasn’t until my major health crisis that I made the switch permanently. I noticed that with even the heaviest flow the pads locked the moisture away from my body. I also noticed that I used fewer pads in a given cycle and the duration of my cycle shortened to 5 days. By making changes to my diet and switching to a chemical-free product I am thankful to report that I have not had any gushing or heavy bleeding in about six months. I absolutely love Jewel and would highly recommend it to anyone. As women we have to educate ourselves and those near and dear to us about things that harm our reproductive health and take the necessary steps to protect ourselves. No one else can do that for us.  Be true to yourself and your reproductive health.

There’s so much I can say about Jewel. Jewel has truly changed my monthly cycle. I have extremely heavy periods. A beautiful friend, Cassandra Davis called me up and told me about Jewel. Prior to Jewel, I used tampons and pads. I also suffer from severe cramping, so I was excited to try something new. Initially, I was thinking maybe there was something more going on internally because my cycle was normal until I got to a certain age. I visited with my GYN and had a complete checkup. Jewel has been such a blessing! After using regular pads, it’s hard not to use Jewel products! Those regular pads just don’t hold up as well as the Jewel ones.
